Ministries this Week…

Offerings of the Day

  • May 28 – Western Michigan Christian Schools
  • June 4 – Household Pantry of Calvin: donated household items distributed to those in need in our community.

Unspecified offering donations will be placed in the General Fund.


Next Sunday we’ll begin a new Series titled, “Heroes of the Faith”.  The Scripture will be Hebrews 11.


If you are new to Calvin and/or would like more information on a ministry and/or have a prayer concern, please take a moment to fill out a Connection Card located in the pew or at the Info Center and place it in the offering plate.

Our sanctuary is equipped with an Induction Loop Assistive Listening System.  To utilize, switch your hearing aid, cochlear implant or tactile device to “T” (Telephone) or you may need to contact your provider for assistance.


Calvin Church is helping to preserve God’s creation by recycling.  There is a list in the kitchen of cleaned/rinsed items that can be placed in two recycling cans or a large Ames can by the dumpster outside.  Thanks for pitching in!

Opportunities to Serve

 Baby Bottle Blessing is in full swing!  By simply filling a bottle with change, bills, or checks you will be helping to change lives and save lives.  Please pick up a bottle in the narthex and return it by next Sunday, May 28th.  Your support will allow Muskegon Pregnancy Services to provide FREE services to our community.  “Your change…will help bring change!”


If you are a high school student or young adult who is interested in SERVing as an intern for SERVE Muskegon this summer, applications are available.  See Pastor Brian if you would like to apply.


Attention High School Students!  Are you interested in joining us on a SERVE mission trip to Minneapolis, MN this summer?  Consent Forms are available at the Info Center.  See Pastor Brian for more information.


The Children’s Message sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board by the drinking fountain.  Is there a story you’d like to share with our young ones?   Children’s Messages are a part of worship on Family Worship Sundays, which means No Children in Worship (Communion Sundays… Holidays… Summertime).  Please consider signing up today!
