Offerings of the Day

  • April 28 – GEMS Girls’ Club (GEMS Sunday): a ministry devoted to bringing the Good News of Jesus to girls around the world.  The mission of GEMS is to help bring girls into a living, dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ.  Their vision is to see girls around the world actively and enthusiastically expressing love for God and others—girls equipped, motivated, and passionately engaged in living out their faith.  We thank Emily Teusink, Courtney Kingshott, Carly Besch, Lauren Paquin, Jamie Peterman, Anga Staley for taking on this role here at Calvin Church.
  • May 5 – Missionaries (the Holtrop family) for more info, go to… resonateglobalmission.org/missionaries/steve-and-kim-holtrop. Please keep our missionaries in your prayers.
  • May 12 – World Renew (Women of Hope Sunday): In communities around the world many people do not know the best practices for protecting their health. This Mother’s Day, join World Renew to discover how you can help women in vulnerable communities learn about proper food and nutrition, the importance of sanitation for disease prevention, and more, so their families have a better chance to flourish.

Unspecified offering donations will be placed in the General Fund.

Next Sunday’s Scripture will be Matthew 6:25-34.

Copies of the Today Devotional for May/June are available at the Info Center in the narthex.  Pick up a copy this morning for use in your daily prayer and devotional times.  Large print copies are also available.
