Attention: There will be NO Euchre Night this month (due to Labor Day weekend). But it will return in September (the 27th).
Plan to join us at Calvin’s Fall Kick-off Carnival on Wednesday, September 10th from 6-8 PM! All ages are welcome. More info coming soon!
All walkers are welcome to join us on Tuesday evenings in September (starting on the 9th). We’ll hike a new location each week (announced on the Sunday before). Come, enjoy exploring God’s creation as we get to know each other better. This Is a family friendly event and will include a hike of 2-3 miles each week. If you have questions, reach out to Natalie Katerberg.

Our Needs & Deeds Ministry at Calvin is up and running! If you have a small “need” such as light yard work, minor home repairs, changing furnace filters/light bulbs, please contact the church office, or your assigned elder or deacon. Then, someone from our Needs & Deeds Team will be in touch.
Calvin Church is helping to preserve God’s creation by recycling our items. There is a list in the kitchen of cleaned/rinsed items that can be placed in two recycling bins or a large Ames can by the dumpster outside. Thanks for pitching in!
Another way to give at Calvin is through VENMO. Go to our website, calvin-crc.org, click on the GIVE tab and follow the steps. Or go to your Venmo app, search for the Profile Name, Calvin-Muskegon (make sure it is the correct Calvin by looking for the tree) and follow the steps.
Our sanctuary is equipped with an Induction Loop Assistive Listening System. To utilize, switch your hearing aid, cochlear implant, or tactile device to “T” (Telephone) or contact your provider for assistance.

Prayer Partner Ministry… Are you willing to pray for a young child or teen at Calvin Church? Do you have a young child or teen that you would like paired with a Prayer Partner? Please see Jim Meyers at the table in the narthex today to get signed up or if you’d like more info.

Opportunities to Serve…
Our next Feeding America Mobile Food Pantry is this Friday, August 22nd, distribution at 5:00 pm, volunteers arrive by 4:00 pm. If you are interested in helping, please reach out to Kathy Hoogstra (231-720-5487) or Nancy Mellema (231-750-1627).
How would you like to have an opportunity to pour into our young ones? Wednesdays at Calvin is looking for volunteers as leaders or helpers for Little Peeps, Cadets, GEMS. These ministries help to grow our young ones’ faith in a fun way. Please contact Courtney Kingshott, Children’s Ministries Director, if you are interested or have questions.
We also need a few more helpers for Children in Worship (little kids) for the following dates: January 4, March 22, April 26. If you are willing and able to fill any of these spots, please see Courtney today.
Want to take a turn sharing a story with our young ones? Children’s Messages are a part of worship on Family Worship Sundays. A sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board by the drinking fountain. Family Worship Sundays (No Children in Worship) are Communion Sundays… Holidays… Summertime. If you have questions, see Courtney Kingshott.
Do you have a flower garden? Would you like to help beautify our Sanctuary during the spring and summer months? We are looking for one large bouquet for each Sunday. If you are interested in sharing the beauty from your garden on a Sunday morning, there is a sign-up sheet available at the Info Center (by the kitchen).
