Make sure to check the Lost & Found tub under the coat rack by the Deacon’s closet this week if you lost something and you feel it may have been lost in the church.  We will be sending the unclaimed articles to Hope’s Outlet on Thursday, November 20th.

Do you have a small “need” such as light yard work, minor home repairs, changing furnace filters/light bulbs, etc.?   Could you use an extra set of hands?  If so, contact the church office, or your assigned elder or deacon, then someone from our Needs & Deeds Team will be in touch.

Would you like to be added to the church directory?  Do you have any changes (address, phone, email, photo, etc.)?  Do we have your photo in our online directory?  Leave a note on my desk or email your additions/changes/photos to info@calvin-crc.org.  Thanks for helping me keep our directory up-to-date J

Another way to give at Calvin is through VENMO.  Go to our website, calvin-crc.org, click on the GIVE tab and follow the steps.  Or go to your Venmo app, search for the Profile Name, Calvin-Muskegon (make sure it is the correct Calvin by looking for the tree) and follow the steps.

Our sanctuary is equipped with an Induction Loop Assistive Listening System.  To utilize, switch your hearing aid, cochlear implant, tactile device to “T” (Telephone) or contact your provider for assistance.

Dear Deacons,

The Calvin Seniors wish to express their appreciation for the brunch.  It was delicious and we enjoyed the sing-along.  We are blessed to be a part of a church that makes us feel special and truly cares.

Opportunities to Serve…

Attention High School Students: We will be traveling to Puerto Rico next summer for a Service and Learning Trip!  If you are interested in hearing more info about this trip, please plan on attending an Informational Meeting, with a parent, next Sunday, November 16th following Youth Group at 5:30 PM.  This meeting will last about 20 minutes and is required if you plan on going on this trip.  If you have any questions, see Pastor Brian.

Each Sunday afternoon when the High School Youth Group meets, we offer the kids snacks.  Would you be willing to bring a delicious treat for our High School students?  We typically have 15-20 kids.  You can bring the treats Sunday morning, and Youth Leaders will put the snacks out for Youth Group later in the day.  If you are willing, please see the sign-up sheet above the drinking fountain.  If you have questions, please see Courtney Kingshott.

Want to take a turn sharing a story with our young ones?  Children’s Messages are a part of worship on Family Worship Sundays.  A new sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board by the drinking fountain.  Family Worship Sundays (No Children in Worship) are Communion Sundays… Holidays… Summertime.  If you have questions, see Courtney Kingshott.

Supper House is looking for more volunteers!  Would you like to help serve a meal to the less fortunate in our community?  Calvin Church volunteers on the first Monday of each month (no holidays).  Please see Sherry Apostle to volunteer or for more info.  Thanks!

The 2026 Coffee Fellowship schedule is in the works.  If you are not on the current schedule and would like to be added, please let Vickie in the office know ASAP.  More hands make light work. 😊
