Offerings of the Day…
- July 6 – Reach the Forgotten Jail Ministry: Biblically-based, chaplain-led, volunteer ministry that provides hope by teaching, preaching, and showing the love of Jesus Christ to the “forgotten” women and men incarcerated in Michigan’s county jails.
- July 13 – Therefore Go Ministries: Encourages, supports, equips, and partners with congregations across North America to reach this generation for Jesus Christ through short-term youth mission trips and youth conferences. Learn more at com

Activity Tote Bags are available for kids during worship today and are located in the narthex. Feel free to grab one as you head into worship. Before you leave, please return totes with books/toys.
Happy Birthday! Children ages 1 year old to 5th grade are invited to visit Ms. Courtney during their birthday week to receive a special birthday prize!
There are many excellent books to borrow in our Church Library which you may like to take home and enjoy. These books can be found in the Fireside Room.
Puzzles are also available in the Fireside Room. Feel free to share and swap your puzzles. Check them out in the bookcase by the grandfather clock.
The 6th Annual Calvin Car Show will be held on Sunday, July 20th, beginning at 8:30 AM. Come, view vehicles and chat with owners before and after worship. Do you have a friend or family member that would like to show off their car? If so, be sure to invite them. If you have questions, see Bert VanAndel. See you there!
Our Needs & Deeds Ministry at Calvin is up and running! If you have a small “need” such as light yard work, minor home repairs, changing furnace filters/light bulbs, please contact the church office, or your assigned elder or deacon. Then, someone from our Needs & Deeds Team will be in touch.
IMPORTANT! The printed 2025/2026 Church Directory will be published by the end of July. We will only be printing a limited number of these directories. If you want a copy, make sure to sign your name to the “I Want a Printed Directory” list at the Info Center. Also, if you have any changes (address, phone, email, etc.), let Vickie know by leaving a note in the office, emailing info@calvin-crc.org, or calling 231-737-5207. All changes must be received no later than Thursday, July 17th.

Opportunities to Serve…
SERVE 2025 is fast approaching! 96 students and leaders are coming to stay at Calvin Church next week, July 12-19 and will go out each day to bless others in our community. They’ll also be fed very well and have worship each night. This is a powerful week that has a lasting impact! WE NEED YOUR HELP! Volunteers are still needed…
Sign-up sheets for kitchen help, etc. are available in the narthex. See Bill Sorensen or Pastor Brian if you have questions about volunteering.
We still need a few more Prayer Partners to pray for each student and leader throughout the week. Sign-up in the narthex or see Joni if you have questions about being a prayer partner.
Finally, there are still a few requests for donations of food. See the board in the narthex with needed food items if you are willing to donate or see Kathy Jansen or Barb Hoffman if you have any questions.

Do you have a flower garden? Would you like to help beautify our Sanctuary during the spring and summer months? We are looking for one large bouquet for each Sunday. If you are interested in sharing the beauty from your garden on a Sunday morning, there is a sign-up sheet available at the Info Center (by the kitchen). See Maryann Wolffis or Vickie Curtis if you have questions.
Are you willing to share a story with our young ones? Children’s Messages are a part of worship on Family Worship Sundays. A sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board by the drinking fountain. Family Worship Sundays (No Children in Worship) are Communion Sundays… Holidays… Summertime. If you have questions, see Courtney Kingshott.
Calvin Church is continuing to provide transportation on Sunday mornings and the list of our members who need a ride to church is growing. If you are able to provide someone a ride once each month, please contact Bonnie Bergman at bonniebergman510@gmail.com.
